Creating a graph based on dates

I’m new to Power BI and trying to gain exposure, so I’d really appreciate if someone can guide me in the right direction.

I have the following columns that are relevant to the graph:

-Report Type (contains categories for tasks)

-Completion Date (due date)

-Description (Task description)

I need to create a graph based on the following conditions

If Completion Date is before TODAY, then ‘Overdue’

If Completion Date is Today or within the next 30 Days, then ‘Due in Next Month’

If Completion Date = ‘TBD’, then ‘TBD’

If Completion Date = ‘On-Going’, then ‘In-progress’

If Report Type = ‘Next 60 Days Tasks, then ‘Future Tasks’

I’d like to create a bar graph for the above.

I tried creating a new column called Status and tried putting filters for dates but filters only took hard dates as opposed to ‘Today’ or ‘getdate’ and static dates don’t really help.

I'd appreciate any feedback if I should create a filter in the graph, another column, not sure where to start...

Thank you!
