I have data for total amount (in $) of PO's that have been submitted, as well as total amount (in $) that was charged to those PO's.
For instance, in 2015, Company A had $1M in total PO's, but only charged $900k against those purchase orders.
The visual I would like is a cross between the stacked bar chart and the clustered bar chart - let's call what I'm envisioning an overlapping bar chart.
The stacked bar chart has the basic set up I want, but stacks them in total ($1M and $900k on top of each other for a total of $1.9M on the Y axis).
The clustered bar chart is close in that the two totals appear correct on the Y-axis, but are next two one another (two bars for one year).
What I want is for those two bars to overlap one another, so that it appears like one bar, with the first color going up to $900k, with only $100k of the second color sticking out over top.
Does this make sense? Is there a visual that would do this? Thanks for your help.
